Steps to Annual Review

MDOT certified firms must provide, every year on the anniversary of the date of your firm's certification, the MDOT no change affidavit and supporting documents. This form must affirm that there have been no changes in the firm's circumstances affecting its ability to meet size, disadvantaged status, ownership, or control requirements.

Sixty (60) days prior to a firm’s certification anniversary date, a firm will receive a notification containing a unique 10 digit passcode. Upon receipt of the letter follow these steps:

  1. Visit MBE public directory site (https://mbe.mdot.maryland.gov)
  2. Search for your firm using the official MDOT directory.
  3. Click the firm name to view the complete firm profile.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the link to submit annual review documents.
  5. When prompted, enter the passcode exactly as it appears on the paper-printed letter.
