Find the best gifts for cyclists in this ultimate gift guide including practical gift ideas, splurge items, thoughtful gifts, and more.
These are items that I’d personally love to receive and are sure to be appreciated whatever the occasion.
I’m a huge fan of Tailwind Nutrition – both their Endurance Fuel and Recovery Mix.
The Best Seller Bundle it’s a great way to try out some of their top flavors before committing to a larger bag. These small packets are also great for travel or extra-long rides.
Every cyclist needs a few good pairs of cycling socks. It seems like most two-wheeled aficionados like to go ‘loud’ with their socks, so HANDUP socks are a great choice for bright colors and loud prints.
I have several pairs of the HANDUP tech socks and can attest to their quality and comfort.
Be prepared for any minor injury or mishap with the Cyclist Super Light MedPack.
It includes bandages, a packet of chamois cream, electrolyte powder, hand wipes, and more.
If you want a more advanced kit, check out the Biker Med Pack or the Cycle Medic which can be strapped to your bike frame.
HANDUP Gloves are my go-to choice for all biking adventures from mountain biking to road and gravel cycling.
Their shorties cycling gloves are designed for cyclists with cut-off fingers and super breathable material. They have HANDUP’s signature fun quips across the palms!
Competitive Cyclist is an online retailer that sells all things bike-related including cycling apparel, accessories, components, and even fully built bikes.
A gift card to Competitive Cyclist allows your bike-loving friend to pick out the perfect gift themself!
Don’t let your bike ride get in between you and your coffee!
Now you can take your cup of jo on the road with this clever coffee cup holder that attaches right to your handlebars. You can even sip on the go.
This is a great gift for bike commuters or loved ones who just can’t start the day without a cup of coffee.
The Sprintech Drop Bar Mirror is a practical gift for cyclists who do a lot of road riding. It allows them to see traffic coming up behind them or check in on the peloton.
To install, simply remove the endcaps of your drop bars and insert the mirror.
Having a mirror makes biking safer and more enjoyable.
Portland Design Works makes really beautiful (and hipster) cycling accessories and their water bottle cages are some of my favorites.
Choose from this sparrow, an owl, otter, dog, or lucky cat.
This cast iron sculpture is a perfect gift for cyclists for the home or office.
It measures 5.1 inches by 6.8 inches and is a great reminder that work is done and it’s time to hop on the bike!
I love this artwork by DURIDO. Each piece is vibrant and interesting and the perfect gift for your cycling friend who enjoys the way biking connects us to nature and beautiful places.
The shop is full of stunning artwork, so maybe pick one up for yourself, too 🙂
Start planning your next epic bike trip with the Lonely Planet Epic Bike Rides of the World.
This is a great gift for cyclists who have a bit of wanderlust!
Every cyclist needs a good multi-tool. The Topeak Mini 18 includes pretty much every tool you might need for adjustments or minor fixes on the road all in a compact size.
Say goodbye to plastic water bottles!
These Bivo Stainless Steel Water Bottles are made from non-toxic stainless steel.
They’re easy to clean, don’t make water taste funky, and don’t leech nasty chemicals into your body.
Gift your cyclist a box of awesome cycling snacks, supplies, and stoke!
The RiderBox is filled with high-energy treats, essential cycling supplies like chamois cream, recovery items, and other great surprises.
The Adventure Cycling Association is an organization that puts together multi-day cycling routes all over the world.
A membership gives you access to their online resources as well as discounts for their maps and 9 issues of their Adventure Cycling Magazine.
I love Topo Designs bags because they’re funky, durable, and well-designed.
The Handlebar Bag is no different – it easily straps onto any handlebar and can carry lots of snacks, layers, and other essentials.
It also comes in a mini size.
Make sure you’re ready for flats or quick fixes that might come up while on the road with the MSW Tool Hugger Kit.
This compact little set straps onto the saddle rails and includes two CO2 cartridges, an inflator head, a patch kit, a tire lever, and a small multi-tool. Everything you need to get back rolling!
Bike bells are great for cyclists who ride bike paths or rail trails.
They let you announce your presence without (hopefully) scaring the bejesus out of pedestrians or other cyclists.
Don’t get any old bike bell, though. Gift your cyclist a classy and high-quality Spurcycle bell!
Making sure you’re visible on the road is the most important thing cyclists can do. That’s why I love the Cygolite Tail Light.
This bike light is designed with an easy-mount system and rechargeable USB batteries.
It also has adjustable flash speeds and brightness so you can be sure to be seen.
I recently started using Tailwind Recovery Mix after hard rides and I really do think it makes a difference in recovery time and overall energy.
This vegan-friendly powder is specifically formulated to deliver the right ratio of protein, carbs, and essential nutrients after a workout.
And the chocolate flavor is delicious!
I use Rogue Panda bags for my bikepacking setup, but the top tube bags are also great for road or gravel cyclists.
You can choose from two different styles (fore and aft) as well as several different shapes for the perfect fit.
Plus, you can also customize it with a fun color or pattern!
Having your phone handy on the handlebars is helpful for route navigation and taking photos.
The Peak Designs Bike Mount easily attaches to any handlebar, although you will need one of their phone cases or a universal adapter.
Part of the fun of riding a bike is getting a little bit dusty and dirty.
But it’s important to occasionally wash the grime off your bike and that’s where the Muc-Off 8-in-1 Cleaning Kit comes in.
Keep your bike looking good and preserve it for many seasons to come.
Keep the sweat off the nice wood floors or carpet with a bike trainer mat like this one from Zwift.
If you’re not a Zwift fan, there are lots of other options like Wahoo, Elite, and Saris.
When is the last time your cyclist has gotten their bike tuned up? A great gift for any cyclist is a gift certificate to a local bike shop to get some service and maintenance done. Velo Fix is another option if you want a mechanic to come to you.
***Use the code TWW10 to get 10% off your Velo Fix service.
The clever snap design allows you to shed the lightweight shoulder and arms and transform it into a vest when the temps heat up.
It’s also wind and water-resistant for all-around protection from the elements.
If you’re a cyclist as well, you know the importance of a good pair of chamois.
My favorite pair of liners for road and gravel cycling are the Pearl iZUMi Pro Shorts (men’s).
They have a luxurious next-to-skin feel and they don’t move around when pedaling. They’re expensive but worth it!
I have a massage percussion gun and it’s awesome for tired and sore cycling muscles!
The Hyperice Hypervolt 2 is the best in its class, but you can get cheaper ones on Amazon if you’re not ready to commit a few hundred dollars.
The Hyperice has 3 different speed settings and unlike a lot of massage guns, this one is super quiet.
If your cyclist likes to listen to music while they ride but is concerned about hearing traffic, the Shokz RoadWave Audio Sunglasses are the perfect answer.
They have little speakers built into the arms of the sunglasses and use Bluetooth to connect to
Bike stands make working on and cleaning bikes SO much easier. If your cyclist doesn’t have one yet, it would be a perfect gift.
The Feedback Sports bike stand is a great no-frills stand that is lightweight, folds down when not needed, and is adjustable for any height.
I use my Garmin Edge bike computer for all my road, gravel, and bikepacking rides.
The touchscreen makes it easy to use and it has a ton of great features like ClimbPro, which helps you pace your climbs.
And you can also connect it to your favorite apps like Ride With GPS, Strava, and more.
Help your cyclist get through the winter or train for an event with the Zwift Hub One Smart Trainer. You can hook up your own bike and join group rides virtually – or train solo if that’s more your style.
The Hub One also comes with a free 1-year Zwift Membership.
The ultimate gift for cyclists (at least cyclists like me) is a cycling trip or vacation.
It doesn’t have to be with a fancy tour company or to an exotic location. It could just be a weekend trip to a nice town nearby or a short drive away.

Rhode Island is a hidden gem when it comes to bike paths! I had a blast exploring these 5 scenic paved trails and multi-use paths.
As a mountain biker, I wasn’t always a firm believer in hydration powders and electrolytes. I thought they were just another marketing gimmick for a product that I – and you – don’t need. Water is fine, right? But let me tell you, that belief has run its course! After a few big 30+ mile Tour de Valley’s and some sweaty, sweaty days in the saddle, hydration powders are a firm staple in my pantry.
Give me a choice on how to explore a place and I will choose ‘by bike’. Always. Every single time. For me, biking is the perfect way to see and experience a place – new or old.
I love hearing from you and appreciate your comments! However, if you leave a rude, unconstructive, or spammy comment, it will be deleted. It’s cool to be kind. Have an awesome day!
